Hello there!

We're so excited to share our special day with you as we say "I do" at Wilde Lodge. To make life as easy as possible, we've created a place where you can find all of the details you need, such as the schedule for the day, travel tips (which we highly encourage you to book in plenty of time!), and suggestions for local accommodation.

Ceremony and reception

Our reception will begin at 2pm in the Long Barn. Please arrive by 1:30pm to have a mingle and find a seat in plenty of time. A drinks reception will be held after the ceremony.

Taxis

We have the use of a local taxi firm for the evening. We are getting married in a small Welsh village that definitely has no uber service, so please book in plenty of time! Call Wolf Cars on 01584856690 and use the code "thewalkers13082025" so that Paul and Dianne know you're booking for our date. 

Gifts 

Sharing our day with you is what matters most. However, should you wish to honour us with a gift, a contribution to our honeymoon would be greatly appreciated.

Dress code

We are getting married in Wales at a venue that is predominantly outside.... So make sure you bring something warm and potentially an umbrella! The ground outside the lodge and surrounding the safari tent is gravelled so the can be a bit uneven. There will be fire pits set up in the evening and the Safari Tent will be well heated, but to really enjoy the site we recommend sensible footwear to change into and warm layers to enjoy the star gazing at night.
